ARD, Inc. (http://www.ardinc.com), a Tetra Tech company, requests expressions of interest from highly qualified Information Technology Specialist candidates for a long-term assignment in East Timor.

Responsibilities:

The Information Technology Specialist will hold responsibility for developing, implementing, and refining a sustainable information technology system. The Information Technology Specialist will also be responsible for training Timorese technical staff in the systems and ensuring a successful handover to local government counter parts.

Minimum qualifications include:
-- A bachelor’s degree;
-- Two years practical experience in network administration;
-- Two years experience living and working in a developing country.

Desirable qualifications include:
-- Language skills in Tetun, Portuguese, or Indonesian Bahassa;
-- Experience in Timor-Leste or the region;
-- GIS skills and experience with ESRI products;
-- Project management and administration; and,
-- Experience on USAID-funded projects.
